Camera:
cameras available for practice photos:
·
Canon 600D
·
Canon 6D
·
Canon 5D M2
For this I’m going to use my 600D because I’ve had plenty of
practice with it so if some problems come up I have the knowledge to fix them
during the photo shoot. I realise that the other two have larger sensors and a
greater number of mega pixels providing greater quality, but with a couple of
high quality lens that I’ll borrow, it will make up the difference therefore creating
a more than satisfactory practice/ back up image.
Cameras available for final photos:
·
Bronica ETRS. 75mm/150mm lens
·
Canon 50E. A wide range of high quality lens
I’m going to use the Bronica because the 6x4.5 medium format
will provide me greater detail which will create a much more personal image
which is the goal of the photo-shoot. The College Hasselblad’s would have been
ideal but I can’t get the model any other time other than the Christmas break
which is a problem because I can’t take the camera out of the store at that
time.
I will be using Ilford’s 120, 400iso film because it readily
available to me at the store and I’m familiar with its looks and
characteristics
Light source for photos:
·
Bowen 500 Pro
·
Light from heater
·
Window
I’ll be using all of these. I have no other choices in
flashes because of store rules, which is no matter in this case because the
lights I have available more than good enough for the job, I’ve got a decent
amount experience with them and there’s people to talk to that have a great
knowledge them me on them. I have a range of flash heads available which
includes a beauty dish(with grid), soft box and barn doors. Although I can use
any of them at will, I will probable mainly use the beauty dish with grid
attachment to get a really focused light to darken the background fully.
Other equipment available to use:
·
Large and small reflector
